Here is an insert from the NY times interview. Jack Tretton’s response to 3D gaming.

I’m completely sold on it. Steven Spielberg recently told me that 3-D offers him a new palette to work with when making movies. Gamers are also leading this charge by playing games that are 3-D enabled. You’re really going to see it explode now as more affordable 3-D monitors come out. We are launching a 3-D TV in the fall that will cost $500.

  • I still think I’m going to stick with HD. Also, I raise the Anonymous flag in rememberence of my fallen bretheren. The troll side of me laughs at them for getting caught though.

  • I’d really like to know why the f**k those hackers keep targeting gaming websites and companies.

I mean, what kind of lame ass hackers don’t like to play video games? Damn it! It just makes me furious.

  • @Pedro: U mad bro?

  • Not particularly. I just like to over-express myself.

But it’s kind of annoying and out of control! I mean, they’ve even targeted bethesda! nobody should mess with the people behind Skyrim!

  • Just to be clear, I know Anonymous isn’t supposedly responsible for it. Apparently it’s that other group Lulz something, but either way, hackers are hackers.

  • @Pedro: Since Anonymous members are… well, anonymous it’s very hard to say “they did it-they didn’t do it”. I’m just glad is over for now and they realize that screwing with a company is one thing but screwing with 10+ million gamers is just wrong…

  • anonymous needs to go down

  • @xDeFcoN_2FasT4Ux: Why you so mad?

  • @Pedro: I agree with you about Bethesda being attacked, but it’s not Anonymous who’s doing all this. All these attacks are being done by rogue Anonymous members and other hacker groups. They have no reason for doing any of this other than showing that they can and being Trolls and assholes. If you have any questions, I’ll answer them for you.
