I'm so excited about this game that I'm actually preoccupied. It's bad to have high expectations, like I did with Fallout NV at first, it was a major let down (after numerous patches my opinion couldn't be more different, moving on...).

The game looks better than Oblivion, and that's saying a lot. I just hope all those promises will come true, then I'll be one happy man and missing for november.

GeneticMania: @Megafire123: Great job Chris, excellent review.@The_Nmac: Take it from someone who played Oblivion util the disc broke, the game is loads of fun. Got over 5,000 hours in it, and went through 3 disc.@Jason: Why don’t you go sit in the corner and play your Monster Hunter? =p@Abkanis: I felt the same way. Though I did really enjoy Fallout, it just couldn’t replace Oblivion.

I actually like Oblivion more than Fallout. Maybe the desolate wastelands got to me after a while. Or the rickety feeling combat. or the VATS system which felt completely out of place.

Or maybe every once in a while I just want to swing swords around. Either way, I recommend Oblivion over Fallout.
