BLOODYICECREAM: OK, all this has to stop. Sure, Goldeneye was awesome in the good ol’ days of the N64 and sure, it was an awesome multiplayer experience…but let’s be honest, this game does NOT still hold up. This is just Nintendo being Nintendo (…on the PS3…) and re-releasing the same shit again and again. NO ONE finds an HD remake of this game relevant or necessary. At least the PS2 remasters aren’t completely IRRELEVANT…….you’ll get this for one reason: nostalgia. You will play through it once (if even that) and maybe have some friends over, get drunk, and whip out the same game you bought years ago, only with sub-par current-gen graphics. Maybe, and I do mean maybe, if this is truly your all time favorite game forever and ever you’ll buy this…you’ll blow your nose with fifty or sixty dollars and pretend that you still REALLY want to play this game. If you really must have it, just wait a few more months for the 3D (@_@ !!!) version to come out and feel a little less regret right now. I can’t stand what Nintendo…and most games that have ever touched Nintendo…have become, and I can’t believe that people keep falling for it, year after year.

As for the game… it’s a reimagining of the N64 game, featuring several new levels along with old ones changed for the best.

This is a whole new game, with (slightly) different levels and even new gameplay mechanics.
