Here is the first Battlefield 3 Co-op footage straight from Gamescom 2011 running on our beloved PlayStation 3. The mission you are about to see is a part of a large co-op campaign that supports 2 players online with its own story and dialogue. The scenario you are presented with in this playable show floor demo is a 2 man hostage rescue mission.
DICE promised a variety of missions for the co-op campaign and confirmed vehicles based ones.

Nice post bro. Been waiting to see this run on console finally. Man I wish ps3 could run direct x 11 theres a huge difference. Can you post this in hd or was it shown in 720p?

Yeah 760p would be better to catch all the details, but it looks pretty good even on the PS3.

yeah its fine for console. Just don’t go see it on a gaming pc, you will cry. I still touch the alienware at frys everytime I go. I whisper to it that it will be mine

The multiplayer looks amazing, the coop… don’t care if I see it on the PC or console, it’s pretty shitty looking. Might be the quality but I think that the coop just isn’t good.

The co-op looks pretty fun, I’m sure i’ll enjoy it, But it makes me wonder. Will I be talking like this to my friend when we play co-op?
