Vita is proving relentless when it comes to acquiring quality names for a portable’s launch. During Sony’s Gamescom Press conference, Developers from Nihilistic Software debuted the first images of Resistance: Burning Skies exclusively for the PlayStation Vita. The on-stage demo was set before the events of Resistance 2. Players will take control of an Ex New York firefighter named Tom Riley with a fire axe as the first weapon of choice!
I’ll leave you with the first images of Resistance: Burning Skies, Vita’s first promising first person shooter:

Nice. But it would be nice to see Grayson again. Hopefully in Hypothetical RESISTANCE 4, you take the role of Capelli and Susan (let us see their faiths in R3 1st), Grayson Carthwright & Parker, and well every awesome character from RESISTANCE. And make a CO-OP game. Where you all travel together, break into groups or get separated. Stuff like that.

It didn’t look all that impressive really. It could just be super early in development.

I am just curious what is the Vita capable of, that looks more than decent for a handheld

I think it looks good for one of the first titles to hit the system.

Look at Uncharted: Golden Abyss and realize its a 1st generation game. That should give you a pretty good idea of what it is capable of in the coming years.

Resistance is “right”. IGN hands on was talking about how Resistance “feels” just like an HD fps game.

Dev said that Resistance Vita has no loading times and no fillers.
