According to the Official PlayStation Blog, Assassin’s Creed Revelations beta will kick off this Friday Exclusively on PS3. The multiplayer beta will be available for the first week only for PlayStation Plus subscribers and will feature nine playable characters across 3 maps with 4 gameplay modes and 8 different abilities.
Playable Characters: The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion
Maps: Knight’s Hospital, Antioch and Constantinople.
Gameplay modes: Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch, and Artifact Assault.
Abilities: Tripwire Bomb (NEW), Closure (NEW), Disguise, Fire Crackers, Throwing Knives, Smoke Bomb, Poison and Morph.
So Get your Hidden blades sharpened, historical science-fiction assassins wannabes, and see you all in the beta =)

As much as I like AC Brotherhood was my least favorite title and the multiplayer didn’t help a bit. Perhaps if they’ve fixed the long waiting in between rounds this would be more exciting, but I simply hate playing for 10 – 15 minutes and then waiting another 5 to start again, that really pisses me off (but I guess this is the problem of every online multiplayer game)…
