Angry Birds Mini Solution

The PSN minis version of Angry Birds, which just happens to be the best selling PSN game of all time, was released with two different versions of the game. When Rovio reclaimed the publishing rights, they released a new, better version of the game. “Unfortunately, previous purchasers of the game weren’t able to download this new version, and were unfortunately stuck with their significantly worse version of the game.” Rovio has reported to that there is now a way to get the new version for free.

Ville Heijari, VP of Franchise Development for Rovio told

“…anyone who purchased the older version can contact PSN customer service directly. PSN customer service will check your account to verify the purchase, and provide you with a voucher to download the new version.”

American customers, can contact the PSN customer service at

Thank you!

Not bad. Do you guys think they’ll make a PSVita version with touchscreen controls?

They probably will as it would bring the game “full circle” and back to the way it started. I got it on iPhone for a buck and at that price it’s fun here and there. Not the “greatest game of all time” as most “analyst” like to call it but for that price I won’t complain.

Now, making people jump inside and out of that extra hoop? Why? Can’t Sony just add a script that works on a “does X account won X game? Then send email with download code” routine?

I totally agree with you buddy.

I’m not saying I care, I don’t. The game is crap.

@Pedro: For a buck and 5 minutes of playing every 5th day it’s not that bad. It’s not the savior of the gaming industry either.
