Max Payne 3 – First Trailer Released

We have all been waiting for this moment to come and finally, the first trailer to the long awaited Max Payne sequel was released by Rockstar Games.

As a fan of the game, and a São Paulo inhabitant, I must say the trailer not only didn’t disappoint me, but it hooked me from the very first line and took me back to the incredible story of the unluckiest video game protagonist I can think of. Everything looks good and, as expected, Max’s voice is still setting the dark tone for the game.

Did I mention this trailer is made up entirely from in-game footage?

@Pedro thought it was very good from what I saw in the trailer really does not disappoint.
Its very much looks like Sao Paulo, I hope it’s like GTA with landmarks of the city.
Rockstar seems to have done everything right in the look of the game, looks like Bermuda shorts, soccer jersey team, even though in Fluminense on SP, but okay.
I hope this game should be all kind of gang, skin head, punks, drug dealers, group of soccer fans (like hooligans)
Another great game from Rockstar, so I’ve become the most anticipated game of 2012.
Max is look likes for me John Mcclane yipi kae

To be honest, I hope its nothing like GTA. I wish they stick to the series original script and comic look. The first Max Payne “as I would describe it” was a psychological driven shooter set in the mind of a vengeful Ex-cop. It was dark, mysterious and violent.

I think he meant it should be like GTA IV in a sense that it did a very good job recreating New York as Liberty City.

But yes, gameplay should stick to the original, which, for me, still one of the best 3rd person shooters to date. And Max Payne is a much more linear and intense story than GTA. It’s very mysterious, psychological and esoteric even… thinking about it brings back so many good memories, I love this game ;p
