I disagree, when I first started to play Demon’s Souls it was about one year after release and I always found players online.

I really enjoy the multiplayer for that game, because it feels natural, not pushed. In a game as unforgiving as DS being invaded by a Black Phantom is right. Bloodstains and messages are great too.

As I said, lately, when I picked it up again to platinum it online was dead though…

Anyway, only reason I’m discussing this is because I can’t freakin’ wait for Dark Souls. Everything about the game seems perfect and it’s going to be sooo hard! Wiki already has some info on the game and stuff and it just gets me overly excited about it!

I feel like the online for Demon’s Souls didn’t last an extremely long time because it wasn’t really multiplayer, it was an integrated game experience. People used the online as long as they played the game, and I think most people have beaten it or given up on it now.

Either way, I love the game so much.

On a side note, I’ve been playing a lot of Demon’s Souls for the last month and online seems dead.

I haven’t been invaded once and I only successfully invaded one guy and got banished immediately. All that using the standard SL 120 PvP char… weird… It sucks because it’s nearly impossible to get a Monk’s Head Collar this way.

I was put off by a news article awhile ago that the server is gonna go down in october. Look like I cant use that excuse anymore
