Video Unlimited Available to PS+ Subscribers Today
Posted by Jay in Media, PSN, Video Unlimited on September 27th, 2011
Here’s a small tour of Video Unlimited, an app that mirrors everything on the PlayStation video store, but laid out and organized in a very user friendly way. It will be available to PlayStation Plus users today, followed by everyone else within the next few weeks (at least stateside; not sure about other territories).
Personally, I think this is an awesome way of browsing for movies, as you can search by actor/actress, subject, or title (even directors and genres in general). Something like this, I think, would also be great for Netflix on PS3 (since it is possible on the website, but only by title in the app). Even the history could come in handy. Still, I’m not one for purchasing movies and I rarely ever rent them. In either case, this looks great and very intuitive.

Thanks to a recently successful closed beta, TGC plans to spend the next several months polishing Journey and addressing feedback they received. Via: PS Blog
Event Recap: Capcom Fight Club LA
Posted by PAUL FIERCE in Events, PS3 on September 26th, 2011

Capcom is well known in the fighting game community as the number one go-to company when it comes to tournaments. What a lot of people don’t know is that Capcom also throws the best parties. Take, for example, Fight Club LA. It is usually an event where they showcase upcoming games. The first one I ever attended was also in Los Angeles a month before Marvel Vs. Capcom 3 was to be released. They provided free food, a live band, and open play with over 20 stations to test out the game before it was released. This time around, Capcom decided to throw another event in downtown Los Angeles to showcase games like Street Fighter X Tekken, Ultimate Marvel Vs. Capcom 3, Street Fighter Volt, and the newer incarnations of Street Fighter III.

EdEN said it best, “Cubixx HD is a very addictive game that has a lot to offer for all types of gamers. It made the jump from minis to PSN release with style, grace and upgrades all around that make it an even more fun experience.” Make sure you check out Eden’s full review here.
This easily became one of my favorite PSN puzzle games with just a couple plays. At only $9.99, or only $6.99 for plus members, Cubixx Hd is a must buy. Don’t have $9.99? Well, you’re in luck, because you can win one of 3 European codes right here. (If you don’t have a EU account, we can walk you through it.)
Details are below. Good luck!
