I haven't had slow downs while playing, but loading times are certainly influenced. My save file is about 8mb and loading is taking three times longer than it did at the beginning of the game.

Honestly, this is so far my only complaint about the game, I don't really care about the eventual texture clipping or whatever. Overall the stability of the game is far superior than Fallout NV for example, so far no crashes and only a couple major slowdowns on one specific area (which hasn't reoccurred).

I really haven't payed much attention to any forums or anything of the sorts, since I haven't run into bugs myself I really don't know what else they could be addressing (i'm guessing quest progression issues would be my 1st pick). Anyway, I'm glad that will get better (but it is really hard to fix completely I believe), when they did it for NV it made the experience 200% better.

I'm already noticing slowdown with a 5 meg save file. This should hopefully help. Usually when they roll out patch it will fix lots of small issues at the same time.

I hope the patch is for more than just this. It seems like a waste of a patch to just fix the one issue. Still, it's great they are fixing it this soon.

So that was it. I thought it was my PS3. I didn't even think it was a bug. Thank you!
