New to PS3 – Week of 4-12-11
Posted by Jason in New Releases, PS3 software on April 9th, 2011
Last week we had nothing in terms of retail, and this week is just about the same. We have “The Michael Jackson Experience” and “Rio”. Both family friendly, and great for kids. Rio is only $29.99, so why not spoil the kids with that price tag. The Portal 2 strategy guide will also be available Tuesday, so if you’re the type of person who likes to plan ahead, by all means, pick it up for $19.99. The MJ game is $49.99, which isn’t too bad. I can see it being a collectors item down the line for sure. Shame they wont re-do moonwalker, as that was, at the very least, a fun game.

In the end, we have Dungeon Hunters on PSN, so all is not lost. I believe a Game Night was mentioned by Oly, so if you haven’t, join the Game Night group HERE
Games to Keep an Eye On – Ace Combat: Assault Horizon

I don’t know about you, but I have been a long time fan of the Ace Combat franchise, and this has been one of those series I’ve been able to pick up and play over and over again. Although no release date has been formally announced (as it is only scheduled for a 2011 release), the next game in the series, Assault Horizon, is looking, well, awesome.
Although the above trailer isn’t new, if you’re a long-time fan of the series, you’ll immediately note how different it is: a realistic setting, fully animated cutscenes, and lots of close-quarters combat and destruction.
New Alice: Madness Returns Screen Shots
Posted by Oly in Alice: Madness Returns, Media on April 8th, 2011
These amazing-looking Alice: Madness Returns screens hit the web today. This game is a sequel to an Alice game released 11 years ago, and will be released for the PS3 on June 14, 2011. It looks extremely dark, but definitely seems interesting enough to be examined closer.
