In this first part of a series of videos, David Jaffe talks about the idea behind the series and the origins of some the characters and why they’re involved with the Twisted Metal tournament, focusing on Calypso, Dollface, Sweet Tooth, Mr. Grimm, and Preacher. Throughout, you can even catch a glimpse of some of the story scenes from the upcoming title. Personally, I am looking forward to this game (and the game nights we will almost definitely host). It releases next month on February 14th!

Ever since the first Twisted Metal on the PS1 (my first game I owned on the PS1) I have loved the “twisted” story behind it, makes it fun. I’m excited to see how this one turns out. Fun that it’s live action.

I don’t believe I’ll be buying this game, even though I think it looks awesome, but I gotta admit, these live action sequences are incredible, really makes me want to dig into that story!
