they tried to do that with amy, but it just ended up being a “survival horrible” (GI) game.
The current situation is, game developers want to cater to the “general public” because they’re a much bigger audience and therefore will bring more $$. However, there’s some serious questions being raised about how the “core gamers” will react to this change, will they still purchase games?

@Kane112: Unfortunately, they said in a new interview that this Silent Hill game was going to be more action oriented-so that may be the death of another horror game.
