Blu-ray Releases For The Week Of Jan 30th

The last Transformers was ok. Honestly I think it needs a reboot with a new director. It needs to focus on the transformers themselves not around a this guy that whines all the time. I heard Drive was a good movie, I’ll have to rent that later. As I was browsing through the releases I noticed another of those bad shark horror movies. This time the shark has 2 heads! Pretty scary stuff I must say. Anything interest you this week?

Highlights for this week: Drive, Transformers: Dark of the Moon, Transformers Limited Edition Collector’s Trilogy, Star Trek: The Next Generation – Next Level, In Time, The Thing (2011), To Kill a Mockingbird 50th Anniversary Edition, Shakespeare in Love, The Double, Dream House, Cold Mountain, The English Patient, The Piano, Adaptation, Into The Universe With Stephen Hawking, 2 Headed Shark Attack.

I’ll rent Driver since I’ve also heard it’s pretty good. Transformers 3 is also fun (a lot better than the 2nd), but I agree with you Tosh, it really need to be rebooted with more focus on the actual transformers rather than Shia LaBeouf… they should do something like those 3D series those were awesome ;p

Mmm, the Transformers LE might be something I could eventually buy.

I still haven’t seen the last Transformers, maybe if this ones on sale I’ll pick it up. I also agree with you Tosh! Heard Driver was good so probably watch it someday.

The Thing was actually much better than I expected. It leading up to the 80′s Thing really made me like it even more. Worth a watch, just don’t expect it to be great!

I completely forgot there was a prequel to the thing out now. I’ll have to check that out-the first one is one of my favorite all time movies.

@kennygk I didn’t know that! Well, let’s hope they focus on the good stuff then… but knowing Michael Bay all we can expect is a lot of explosions, a silly plot and some even sillier jokes.
