A rumored LittleBigPlanet Kart game was the talk on a few gaming websites based on a tweet made by a Canadian games retailer called Future Shop, who claims that they were shown the game at a PlayStation event in the US.
According to Future Shop, the title is in development by United Front Games the “studio behind Modnation Racers”, and it will feature some kind of Move compatible wheel that has not been reveled yet.

Yeah, I am thinking Wait, don’t we already have Modnation Racers? and, can’t we make a kart game using LBP2 kit? This game doesn’t make any sense, but it also could be so awesome! lol

Maybe it’s just and ad for LBP VITA?? Or even LBP2.. can make carting levels…

idk, apart from exploits, LBP2 was made with a semi-2D gaming engine and not designed for full 3D movement in the environment. Assuming this will be a new title, it could still be quite awesome since LBP level creation and tools are still king’s quality. The only thing I am thinking is this game will probably, and most likely, be a cross platform title between the Vita and PS3 if it is in development.

Hmm. My guess it would made from the modnations engine. I would still do LBP 3 for the PS4 first so they can build a good cast of racers for a Kart Racer. Mod Nations one issue was that nobody knew any of the characters.
