Sweet! Nice to see a worthwhile package put together for the ps3. You see so many useless overkill packages everywhere.

ehh HDMI is HDMI unless you're telling me this special HDMI cable can do things the one i got from monoprice can't then I'm not too concerned with it.

As far as I'm concerned HD gaming just means games will have tiny tiny text and all the UI elements are pushed ALL the way to the edge.

I am a little confused on how NC goes but I'm willing to just operate with my current assumptions. I think I got it down already.

All that said the headphones themselves sound pretty nice. They're wired and have good length to them both things I admire though I wish we didn't have to take up a USB port for it. It is the only way to separate game from chat audio. I'm a bit curious on the price since it wasn't list in the article. Also I must be missing some sort of general AV assumption but why do we hate dial controls?
I assume you mean the ones that look like this

are the harder to use? more susceptible to accidental changing?

That does look like some quality hardware. I still have the $5 HDMI cable I got during the PS3 launch and it works fine. But would love to win that HDMI cable. Thanks for the review!
