Sony had a strong presence at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. So strong that they brought out heavy hitters such as Ellen Page during the Beyond: Two Souls panel and Ashley Johnson, W. Earl Brown, and Troy Baker for The Last of Us panel. Just in case you didn’t know, Comic-Con panels are simply a gathering of talent and producers with fans during the convention. An hour or so is given to the panelist to discuss the game, comic or movie. Sometimes they reveal new footage, and sometimes they also reveal a bunch of other new stuff to the public. Towards the end of each panel, fans are allowed to ask questions.
Omar Kendall, of Superbot Entertainment, revealed Jak and Cole as the latest addition to PlayStation All-Star Battle Royal, while Niel Druckmann, from Naughty Dog, showed us never before seen footage for The Last of Us.
If you have been following our Facebook Page this last week, then you might have already grabbed a code (or more). If not, then here’s your chance. These codes add to your existing account and do stack, so feel free to add them even if you have an active account.
Keep in mind that you must have a credit, debit, or a prepaid card on file before you can claim the code. This is because PS+ is a subscription-based service, and because of that, it also enables automatic renewal on said service after it expires.
Don’t fret, however, as you can cancel the automatic renewal, and you’re also able to remove your credit card information stored on your account. As long as you cancel auto renewal, you won’t get charged a dime. It’s an inconvenience for some, but it’s a requirement by Sony and not us.
I am going to post 4 codes here as a first come first grab type deal, and will then give out 10 more to anyone that leave a comment as to why they need PS Plus. Also over the next few days, till Friday the 27th, I will randomly be posting codes on http://www.facebook.com/PS3Blog.net, as well as here in the comments, and even a few in our chatroom!! So keep a close eye on us, and Good Luck!!
Here are the first 4 codes!!

Over a year ago, I talked about a game that I fell in love with during the golden age of PlayStation 2. That game was War of the Monsters. To my surprise, on the Official PlayStation Blog, it was revealed that the game has been released on the PlayStation Store as a PS2 Classic. If you’ve never played the game, you’ll be in for a treat. Could this mean we’ll see a true sequel some time in the future? One can only hope…
Wide speculation came rolling down this year as E3 2012 wrapped up. It was rumored that E3 may move to a different city as a result of an ongoing plan to build a football stadium. The ESA today confirmed that it has locked down an agreement with the city of Los Angeles to keep E3 through 2015. E3 dates for next year are June 11-13.
Who wouldn’t want to keep E3 in their city? the expo brought $40 Million this year in a already money saturated city.
Yes. I DID miss a couple of weeks, but it was all due to work and the vacation that followed right after. Don’t worry, I won’t try to make a post with everything that was released. I’ll just focus on this week, and you’ll act as if I actually posted all the others and you didn’t miss anything. All good? Great!
We get one retail release, three PSN games, and two games from the PS2 Classics series… and that is it. Well, I lied. One of the PSN games is a digital release of a formerly retail only game. BUT the PS2 Classics series makes a big comeback with not one but TWO releases for you to enjoy, so that makes up for it, right? Oh, almost forgot to mention. One of the PS2 Classics is GTA 3.
