In anticipation of the upcoming release of Aliens: Colonial Marines, SEGA has sent us this video with an inside look at the making of the game. In this all-new trailer, the developers at Gearbox Software share their excitement for creating a videogame sequel to ALIENS, and their work to execute an authentic experience to the film franchise canon.
I spent some time playing the multiplayer at E3 and again at Comic-Con, and it was a lot of fun. I can’t wait to try out the SP campaign.
Another cool side note is that PaulFierce and I got invited to the Gearbox private party at E3, and hung out with all the devs. They were a great bunch of guys!
Aliens: Colonial Marines will be available in stores across the globe on February 12, 2013.

I love Gearbox and how many of these ‘behind the scenes’ videos they put out for their games. I really like how much enthusiasm they have for this game, I’m really looking forward to it.

Game looks good, it’s a shame that the ‘Alien’ franchise has devloped a habit of falling short, having Gearbox on the case definatly bolsters my confidence though. I recently finished the NDS game which was a lot of fun too, lol.

From what I’ve seen this is the best Aliens game to date.. it being a direct sequel to Aliens is also great!
