Capcom celebrated the release of Resident Evil 6 in style with a star studded performance headlined by New York rapper, NAS. The event was held at Lure nightclub in Hollywood, California on September 28, 2012. The general atmosphere of the venue itself was just like any other Hollywood club. Full of wannabes and trying to be’s. Yeah, sure, it was attended by the likes of Kendra and Hank Baskett, and Shawn Roberts, however, personally, I find these events to be so ridiculous.
Official social media game industry websites advertise these events “for the gaming community” but you never get that feeling. I had to argue with the people in the media line to let me in and they kept saying it was max capacity inside. 5 minutes after arguing with them, they let me in, mind you the venue holds 1600 people; it looked more like 200 people were in there. This may come off as negative, however I just want to give credit where credit is due. The hard working producers and the fans. Without the fans, Resident Evil wouldn’t have been as big, Without the producers, the game would not exist!

As a gamer, do you care about the production and the people behind the title? Or do you just play it and toss it?
