I thought it would be a nice touch but it was just similar color schemes playing tricks on me (or perhaps I was just wishfully thinking for a neat throwback). I still have games from 3 years ago I need to play.. Right now tho, it's all BL2.. game is soo great.. But anyway, I ended up buying it last night. I was somewhat annoyed by the game at a few segments, but it picked up and got interesting. It has gotten harder as well which is good. Re5 wasn't this hard. This game is not as bad as everyone leads it to be. I was going to wait till Black Friday and pray that this was gonna be $30, but i jumped the gun and bought it last night. I hope my $65 does not go to a waste. I do wish I waited, because I still have Borderlands 1 and 2 to beat. And I enjoy the 2nd one. So many games to get and so little money at this age.
