I see it sort of like a Rock Band for PSP which I think went free as an engine that you had to buy songs for. In theory it could be a perfectly functional model and because of the nature of the game. I think it could be a good deal. I think a guitar hero game where you could download the game free and just pay for songs would be compelling. Honestly the major complaint about Singstar games from people who play them are about the song distribution. Which i always found odd because of how much of a savings the disc were well the game wouldn’t be free to play. It's just really that useful. Especially if you're among the few trying to get a few trophies for things like uploading videos or maybe if you want to edit videos.
