[PSN Review] Derrick The Deathfin
Posted by EdEN in Media, PS3, PS3 Reviews / Vita Reviews, PS3 software, PSN on November 30th, 2012

Derrick the Deathfin is the world’s premiere underwater papercraft game.
It’s a fast-paced arcade action title set in a unique aquatic world made entirely out of paper & card. In the game Derrick rampages around the globe munching on paper creatures and destroying everything he sees under the guise of avenging the death of his parents.
Luckily this gives him a flimsy pretext to destroy everything in his path in an orgy of rigid destruction! Derrick’s quest takes him all around the globe, through 3 types of level, 4 different continents, 11 vibrant environments and 32 challenging levels. On the way Derrick must race against the clock and his own metabolism, collect diamonds, jump through flaming tires in the sky, puzzle his way past man-made obstructions and duel to the death with oversized paper baddies.
Playstation 4 to be Dubbed Playstation Omni? Several Rumors Have Surfaced!

It’s that time again! Time for hardware rumors about the PS3 predecessor, new peripherals and more! It’s easy to get caught up in the hype being a gamer, going from console generation to generation. Many of us have been through many console generations (not saying how many as to not give away my old age) so we know about rumors and speculations. What to believe and what not to believe in most cases. Well I have some rumors for you that are hard to believe as they are unique and maybe even a little outlandish but let’s face it. We need outlandish in our consoles to keep them relevant in the gaming world.
Before we start. These rumors come from dualpixels.com through someone known as Geno who has delivered a lot of information before that has been true in the past so the source is credible. You can see Nintendo, Microsoft and other developer rumors here as well.
Let’s get to the meat and potatoes shall we? Also please remember these are just rumors for now.

[PS3 Review] Midway Arcade Origins
Posted by in Featured, Media, Midway Arcade Origins, PS3 Reviews / Vita Reviews on November 29th, 2012

I’m not usually one to play older gen games, I mean why waste time playing an old game with so many great looking new gen games to play? That is why, when I received Midway Arcade Origins from Warner Brothers for the PS3, I assumed I wouldn’t play it more than the ten mins it took me to “check it out”. Well I was wrong, as the hidden nostalgic gamer in me appeared.
Midway Arcade Origins contains 31 Midway arcade games assembled on one disc. Joust, Defender, Gauntlet, Rampage, and Spy Hunter are just the beginning of whats included. (See below for a full list.) The main menu is pretty cool and is made up of the original arcade cabinets and their marquees, for all 31 games.
