Derrick the Deathfin is the world’s premiere underwater papercraft game.
It’s a fast-paced arcade action title set in a unique aquatic world made entirely out of paper & card. In the game Derrick rampages around the globe munching on paper creatures and destroying everything he sees under the guise of avenging the death of his parents.
Luckily this gives him a flimsy pretext to destroy everything in his path in an orgy of rigid destruction! Derrick’s quest takes him all around the globe, through 3 types of level, 4 different continents, 11 vibrant environments and 32 challenging levels. On the way Derrick must race against the clock and his own metabolism, collect diamonds, jump through flaming tires in the sky, puzzle his way past man-made obstructions and duel to the death with oversized paper baddies.
It’s that time again! Time for hardware rumors about the PS3 predecessor, new peripherals and more! It’s easy to get caught up in the hype being a gamer, going from console generation to generation. Many of us have been through many console generations (not saying how many as to not give away my old age) so we know about rumors and speculations. What to believe and what not to believe in most cases. Well I have some rumors for you that are hard to believe as they are unique and maybe even a little outlandish but let’s face it. We need outlandish in our consoles to keep them relevant in the gaming world.
Before we start. These rumors come from dualpixels.com through someone known as Geno who has delivered a lot of information before that has been true in the past so the source is credible. You can see Nintendo, Microsoft and other developer rumors here as well.
Let’s get to the meat and potatoes shall we? Also please remember these are just rumors for now.
Welcome back! We’ve been gone for an extended amount of time, due to the holiday last week, but it’s good to be doing the podcast again. A lot of games have been released between now and then, as well as some news. We also announce the winner of the PSN gift card giveaway for the month of November, so tune in to find out if it’s you!
We also discuss Assassin’s Creed 3, yet again, with some more spoilers as usual so tune out between 29:00 and 42:15 to avoid anything.
We hope you all enjoyed your Thanksgiving, if you live in the states. If you don’t, well then I hope you had a good week regardless!

I’m not usually one to play older gen games, I mean why waste time playing an old game with so many great looking new gen games to play? That is why, when I received Midway Arcade Origins from Warner Brothers for the PS3, I assumed I wouldn’t play it more than the ten mins it took me to “check it out”. Well I was wrong, as the hidden nostalgic gamer in me appeared.
Midway Arcade Origins contains 31 Midway arcade games assembled on one disc. Joust, Defender, Gauntlet, Rampage, and Spy Hunter are just the beginning of whats included. (See below for a full list.) The main menu is pretty cool and is made up of the original arcade cabinets and their marquees, for all 31 games.
Far Cry 3 will be releasing in North America on December 4, 2012, but today we have a 10min Far Cry 3 Revealed Trailer. This game is getting rave reviews, and I’m actually excited to try it out.
Warning: Harsh language ahead!
“In this video, witness how Far Cry 3 is redefining the modern day shooter with a whirlwind tour of the epic storyline, the relentless shooter action and its open, vibrant game world.”
Check out some of the review scores after the jump!
Wizards of the Coast and Stainless Games have released the first deck pack for Magic the Gathering: Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013. This expansion adds just two decks to the roster (bringing the total to seventeen, for those who are counting), but its price tag is a paltry $3 USD. Anticipating the next expansion for paper Magic (Gatecrash, due out February 1, 2013), this electronic pack adds decks that use color pairs that will be featured in Gatecrash: Boros (red and white) and Simic (green and blue). The new decks are fun, if rather expected, and they provide a cheap fix for more Magic on the PlayStation 3.
Farcry 3 has been getting great reviews so far, and looks like it could be a really fun game. The map editor and co-op both open up a whole new way to play Farcry and i personally can’t wait to check this game out.
Beware of a lot of Kane sounding Foul Language!
Quadruple the insanity in the whole new co-op campaign in Far Cry 3. With local and online split-screen on consoles, up to four players can reign havoc in paradise, all in the name of revenge. Watch the new trailer now featuring the Scottish thug, Callum.

In a brutal world at war, where the Empire of Men seeks to expand its domination and impose its beliefs, Goblins are systematically persecuted and slaughtered, while Orcs, if not killed in battle, are destined to be enslaved.
Play as Arkaïl, an elite Orc soldier of the legendary legion of Bloodjaws, a league of warriors devoted to victory in the war against Humankind.
As a veteran group of warriors who have seen the most brutal of battles, the Bloodjaws are appointed to complete a mission that could change the course of the war: kill the one man responsible for all of the bloodshed, the one who has, for years, exhorted the human masses to loath and fight the green-skinned people… the Emperor himself.
