PS3BlogCast Episode 66 |

Happy belated Halloween! I hope you all had a good one this year, despite it falling in the middle of the week. I had a great time playing Slender in a dark room while everyone watched me on the TV, THAT was creepy as hell.

We have a little bit of news this week that Isli, MissXya and I cover as well as the usual conversations that follow. Isli reveals why he had to leave so abruptly during last weeks podcast and I talk about a missed opportunity to have a great story to tell.

A new month is here bringing a new batch of games along with it! We will also be having another PSN card giveaway coming soon, I’ll be sure to let you all know when that will take place! So tune in and enjoy!

Here’s a list of some things (or everything) we discussed:

  • New Releases
  • Dead Island Riptide release date
  • GTA V coming in spring of 2013
  • Updated PS4 dev kits going to developers
  • PS3 Move Portal 2 DLC inbound
  • Crysis 3 pre-order bonuses
  • DMC adds four more difficulty levels
  • Assassin’s Creed III
  • Secret Word
  • PS4 is going to be one expensive machine to build, and even more expensive for games to be developed. People have shown they won’t buy a console over $400, which puts them in a tricky situation.

  • Jay

Sony has promised that the system is going to be way more cost effective. Go back to the kiddie table with your Wii U EdEN.

  • missxya

I don’t think a majority of consumers are going to upgrade right away anyway. Especially since it likely won’t be backwards compatible and the PS3 still has a lot of life in it on the development end alone.

  • Thanks for the double points. I too can’t wait to watch Wreck-it-Ralph though I’ll just be playing AC3 for now. 🙂
