Only a small update this week for PS+ subscribers, but it’s a good one. Once the store update is live tomorrow, you’ll have access to Quantum Conundrum, absolutely free! This is a very fun game that Oly got to review, and is a welcome addition to the Instant Gaming Collection.
If you’re looking to spend some money tomorrow, you should take advantage of the 30% PS+ discount for Machinarium, which puts it at only $6.99.

@hobbes: Machinarium is quirky fun — it has a very original aesthetic, and I’m bizarrely in love with the soundtrack, which is, I dunno, chiptunes under the sea or something. Characters and environments all look unapoletically hand-drawn, which imbues them with a sense of poignancy and individuality. It’s clear that this is a small team’s labor of love. The game is a puzzler, so if you’re down with the genre, it’s worth checking out. My wife was just frustrated when she tried playing it, though. It has an 85 on Metacritic, fwiw. I don’t know if the PS3 version is different at all, but I should mention that I’ve only played the original PC release, maybe 3 years ago.

@premiersoupir i’m really intrigued by the machinarium , but don’t think i’ll buy it cause i’m out of country for 3 weeks, and don’t want to make a rash decision.
