PS3BlogCast Episode 68

Welcome back to another week of the podcast, featuring Isli, MissXya and yours truly. It’s a rather short week of news, despite some big game releases and a new trailer for GTA V. Tune in to catch us discuss the things that were announced, as well as our usual banter and Isli’s strange obsession with…well I’ll let you listen for it.

We also discuss a lot about Assassin’s Creed III again this podcast, though it’s a little more spoiler-esque than last week. So when you hear that section feel free to skip it. We discuss it starting at about 38:45 and finish at around 59:40. We don’t go too spoilerish, but there are some discussions and speculation on my part since I haven’t beat the game yet.

We still have another week to enter into the PSN $20 card giveaway so you still have a chance to enter if you haven’t already.

im glad that endgame might require less people, it was always a pain to find the right classes, especially in early FFXI days when you needed the whole linkshell. I can’t wait to finally try out 2.0.

@Clint: Hahaha, good thing I did skip over that! Sure AC II is old, but I haven’t had the time to dive into such a massive game with all the reviews I’ve done.

Regarding FFXIV, I’m actually really excited for some of the content that requires alliances. 3 full parties of 8 players heading into Labyrinth of Bahamut sounds like so much fun. But I’m also really glad they’re adding diversity in the size of party needed for certain events. I saw even dungeons will scale for 4-8 people, instead of 4-man being a death wish.
XI tried this with Abyssea but I think it sorta backfired and broke up the community, so I hope XIV strikes a good balance.

Now I just have to find something to do until the PS3 beta….
