[PS3 Review] Ōkami HD

okami hd ps3 review

We’re pals, right?

I feel like I can share anything with you, loyal reader. Now, we’re not talking “hey, can I borrow your rare Beastie Boys “Pass The Mic” single EP vinyl?” It’s more of a “can I borrow a cup of sugar, neighbor?” pal. It could be that we’re a different kind of pal? Maybe we’re pals on a different level? Is there an honesty percentage to our pal level, and furthermore: what level is it and what level does it cap out at? All good, solid questions. That’s what I like about you, though. You have lots of good questions. Honesty is the first one and only I’d like to address, mainly because of time restraints and the fact that I’m writing this review over lunch and it’s getting cold.

[Vita Review] Orgarhythm

orgarhythm ps vita review

Orgarhythm is essentially a battle of brothers or of light and dark Gods. You must rise up against your brother with your rhythm yielding legion of warriors using music and beats as your commands.

As part rhythm game, part strategy and part RTS, Orgarythm sounds like the ultimate clash of genres but this is only in theory and not execution.

The very first level has the best music that I’ve experienced in the entire game thus far. When the march of death starts, you have to tap one of three commands with the beat and button glow the best you can to get a good timing rating. There are three sets of commands you must choose and get them all perfect or your warriors will actually level down.

This has been on my to-do list for quite some time. So I created 2 shortcodes. One will display those that have won the most points from all bets. The other will show total points bet. I’ve included it on this post so you can see it in action. You can also see it on the point leader board at the bottom. We have several bets going right now for the NFL games this weekend. Thank you Kane112 for setting those up!

Keep a eye in the sidebar right above the last 5 comments. Here we will list bets setup by the community. If you have any ideas on what else we could bet on, please let us know in this forum topic.

GTAV Featured in December Game Informer; New Info Revealed

November 8, 2012 | | 11 Comments

Earlier today, Game Informer gave digital subscribers details of Rockstar Games’ upcoming blockbuster GTAV through the digital release of this December’s magazine. To tell you the truth, I am overly amped for this thing now. Some of the new features sound pretty intriguing, especially the lead character bit and world interactions. Heck, even the sheer size of it all. Here are some details, provided by

  • GTA 5 “evolves nearly every mechanic” found in previous games in the series.
  • Features the biggest open world in the series’ history – GTA 5’s world is bigger than the worlds of Red Dead Redemption, San Andreas and GTA IV combined.
  • Three playable characters who you can switch between “at nearly any time”.
  • Each character has their own specific abilities and story arc, with all three stories intertwined.
  • Camera zooms out to a “Google Earth-style” perspective when switching characters.
  • Character 1 – Michael, an ex-bank robber in his early 40s who retired after making a deal with the FIB. He has two teenage children and hates his wife Amanda. He’s also the narrator of the original GTA 5 trailer.
  • Character 2 – Trevor, a former war veteran and a “drugged out psychopath”. An experienced pilot.
  • Character 3 – Franklin, a repo man in his mid 20s described as a “young and ambitious hustler”. Read More
