@mowmow: House of the Dead Overkill is a MUST!

  3. #3 by The_Nmac on January 21st, 2013 [ 47103 Points ]

Hot damn I will have to get LBP Karting and Unfinished Swan. House of the Dead might be cool to get some use from my move Controllers.

might be picking up tiger woods and maybe house of dead

  5. #5 by mowmow on January 21st, 2013 [ 13030 Points ]

@eden I had HotD on Wii before that’s why i’m undecided.

  6. #6 by EdEN on January 21st, 2013 [ 139666 Points ]

@mowmow: I have HotD on Wii as well but the extra levels, trophies and new HD coat make it a nice double dip.. especially at $5!

just picked up overkill on disc yesterday for $15 (no tax week) but this might be a better deal? does the disc differ from the DLC version?

    Swan
    Warp
    Nights
    Overkill

those are must buys at those prices. and I might pick up some more.. i’m SOOOO glad I saved some money on my account. It would have been really easy to blow it on SingStar songs.

WOW great sale! I need to try the swan demo to see if I’d play it, then I might pick that up for sure. Maybe Shank 2, need to see if I already have it lol..

  9. #9 by EdEN on January 21st, 2013 [ 139666 Points ]

@Oly: Think Shank 2 was part of the PS+ games we have.

  10. #10 by Skott on January 21st, 2013 [ 1380 Points ]

I am definitely picking up The Unfinished Swan.

Any ideas on when this sale will come to an end? I’m on a “No spend” month, and cannot spend a dime until 2/1.

  11. #11 by EdEN on January 21st, 2013 [ 139666 Points ]

@Skott: No info on when it will end but, going from previous sales, it should run for a week.

DARN! I’m broke, still going to be using Netflix! Wish they would get Hulu + for the Vita

  13. #13 by chronorayven on January 21st, 2013 [ 22619 Points ]

I knew waiting would pay off The Unfinished Swan for $3.75 for PS+ ! A definite buy also wishing Papo & Yo was also on sale for that price .. maybe next time.

  14. #14 by hobbes on January 22nd, 2013 [ 30476 Points ]

    great prices all around

  15. #15 by Kicks on January 22nd, 2013 [ 559 Points ]

Sony has stated that the sale runs through 1/28

I’m definitely buying LBP Karting as I almost bought it for $20 at retail on Sunday.
Unfinished Swan is a no brainer at that price point and House of the Dead has a chance, but I’m running low on PSN funds. I’m already kicking myself for missing Derrick the Deathfin

    wonderful!

  17. #17 by Kicks on January 23rd, 2013 [ 559 Points ]

I was able to sneak in a purchase of Derrick the Deathfin before the store updated! Woohoo! :)

  18. #18 by tedrabear on January 23rd, 2013 [ 146 Points ]

Picked up Unfinished Swan, Warp and Machinarium. Think I might grab a PSN card for LBPK.

  19. #19 by Kicks on January 23rd, 2013 [ 559 Points ]

LBPK and Unfinished Swan were purchased. Considering Machinarium and Warp once they fix PayPal funding and after I’ve played a little more on the android version of Machinarium to see if I want to re-buy on PSN

I need to price out the Jak & Daxter collection to see if it is worth splitting them out versus buying the disc

  20. #20 by premiersoupir on January 23rd, 2013 [ 17020 Points ]

@Kicks: I doubt there’s a good reason to purchase Machinarium again. I haven’t looked into the matter very closely, having played the game three years ago on the PC, but I don’t believe that any new content was added for the PS3 version. It’s not as if the puzzles are any different this time around. But for those who have never played the game, it’s a pretty awesome experience!

  21. #21 by Kicks on January 23rd, 2013 [ 559 Points ]

@premiersoupir I have only put about 5 minutes into the android version as I got it through humblebundle for superbrothers sword&sworcery
I got euphloria through it as well

  22. #22 by The_Nmac on January 23rd, 2013 [ 47103 Points ]

Now to play Unfinished Swan. Made the purchase.

  23. #23 by The_Nmac on January 27th, 2013 [ 47103 Points ]

Has anyone tried House of the Dead with the sharpshooter?
