For many developers and tech users, Linux is such a dramatically better workstation OS than Windows. Here’s why:

Disney Infinity Announced

January 15, 2013 | | 4 Comments

Disney Interactive announced today that they, along with Avalanche Software, will be launching a new Disney-themed video game with the release of “Disney Infinity.” The game will release in June 2013 on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii U, Wii, PC, mobile devices, and Nintendo 3DS.

Disney Infinity integrates collectible character figures that come to life in the game. These figures provide experiences that are true to these characters and stories, as well as the opportunity to bring characters from various Disney and Pixar films to play together in a virtual “Toy Box.”

Initially there will be 40 “collectible” interactive pieces, 17 character figures, as well as, interactive discs (power ups) that can all be placed on the “Infinity base” to play with in the game. Although this sounds like fun, it also sound like it will get expensive really fast. I mean now that Disney owns Marvel and Lucas, we might see thousands of these eventually. Oh how exciting!

Geek Love : Ep. 2 Faux Real? Beauty Is The Geek! Staring Avid Gamer Casey Anne

January 14, 2013 | | 3 Comments

Geek Love is a great reality show about speed dating for geeks. The second episode was just released, and features an avid “gamer girl” by the name of Casey Anne. Early in the episode she can be seen playing Lollipop Chainsaw with a Pink dual shock. Hurray for PS3 placement! Also about half way thru, look for the disgusted reaction from a geek when she says PS3 instead of 360. 🙂 The show was on TLC last year, but now seems to be releasing a new episode every Thursday on their youtube channel here! Hope you find it as entertaining as I do!

Is that EdEN mentioning Zelda?
