PS3BlogCast Episode 81

Welcome back to the second week in big game releases. God of War: Ascension is on the shelves today, though I’ve yet to give it a go. To be honest I’m staring at the main menu of the game as I type this.

We have a decent amount of news this week despite not a lot happening. Hopefully when GDC comes around later this month we’ll have some good stories to talk about.

Tune in to catch MissXya, Isli and I discuss the week in games as well as my spoiler free impressions of Tomb Raider, having just beaten it. Did you beat the game? How did you enjoy it? Leave your comments below!

Ron Gilbert leaving Double Fine is odd since he’s supposed to be working on the Kickstarter funded game. Do wonder what his next game will be.

And God of War Ascension is… a weird game. It’s a new GoW game, but it focuses heavily on the MP component, so I’m not sure I’ll be getting it this year.

I am the type of stracraft player that does not like to play the vs multiplayer, but enjoys playing the story fighting the AI and playing custom maps. Also I know i will be spending a lot of time playing ff14 when it released.

@tunglashor – It depends. If I know the person IRL or if they’re from this site, then it doesn’t matter. However if it’s just some random person adding me, I’d like to see at least 8 or 9. I only want active people on my FL, regardless of if we play games together or not.

@mowmow – Ya I’m not super into the vs aspect, but it would be fun. However I do like doing player vs AI.
