Anime-streaming Crunchyroll App is coming to PS Vita |

Crunchyroll is a subscription-based anime streaming service. If you’ve never heard of this service yet (and it’s very possible lol), you can think Netflix, but specialized in anime streaming with english subtitles. This service has already been available for a few months on the Playstation 3 (only on the North American PSN from what I read though?) and many other devices.

Earlier this week, Crunchyroll announced that a PS Vita version is in the works and will be available at a later date (which was not supplied in the news).

I’ve been following a lot of animes recently via their service, and this is an excellent news for me as I’ll now be able to listen to them on my PS Vita instead of my TV. I’ll be downloading this as soon as it’ll be available and make sure my Crunchyroll subscription doesn’t expire until then !

Are any of you interested in this service? Do you use your Vitas to watch TV shows/movies or for video streaming?

  • @ehandlr: YEA ! I’ve been following Attack on Titan, and a few others ones (Suisei no Gargantia namely), but it’s definitively my best one so far this season lol !
