Hotline Miami is a high-octane action game overflowing with raw brutality, hard-boiled gunplay and skull crushing close combat. Set in an alternative 1989 Miami, you will assume the role of a mysterious antihero on a murderous rampage against the shady underworld at the behest of voices on your answering machine.
So remember Sony Trademarking “Bid For Greatness”? Turns out it’s for an auction for the costumes from the “Greatness Awaits” commercial from E3. You can bet your gold trophies (which you don’t lose from your actual profile) to get costumes or props from the commercial. Overall, it’s pretty cool!
The crazy part is… the first item sold for 1050 gold trophies! I only have 56 total in my profile hahaha.
There’s also a little making of video from the commercial on the website as well.
Also this is for US PlayStation users only. Nothing for Canadians like me.
Here we are with another week in gaming. Comic-con is just a few days away and hopefully we’ll get some interesting game announcements out of it. Though I think we’ll have to wait until the other video game conventions for anything really meaty.
Tune in this week to catch Isli, MissXya, and myself discuss this week in news. We get into a conversation about the few games we’re waiting for, prior to the next-gen console releases. What about you guys? What games are you still waiting for? Leave your comments below!
Ethan: Meteor Hunter mixes puzzle and platformer core action mechanics to a new level with an innovative, telekinetic mechanic: Ethan can pause time and move objects around in order to solve puzzles and get though levels with dynamic use of physics giving multiple gameplay and solving possibilities!
In Ethan: Meteor Hunter, players assume the role of Ethan, an adventurous rodent, searching for the meteor fragments through more than 50 levels in 3 worlds.
The game is easy to play but hard to master: we’ve made the game thinking of gamers who just want to have a nice 20 minutes play after day – work and of the hardcore ones of you who want to get all of the fragments, extra hard challenges and secret bonuses… Speedrunners should also be very pleased!
The game has no solid release date yet, but it definitely is coming to PS3 soon!
It looks like Sony will be shutting down the servers for MAG and SOCOM according to the following post on the PlayStation Twitter account.
