PS3BlogCast Episode 112

The holidays are over and the podcast is back! It’s good to finally be recording again, it’s strange being away for so long. Unfortunately we’re not back with a full crew as Isli is out this week, hopefully he’ll be back soon.

Tune in this episode as we cover some of the news from the past few days, ranging from game announcements to reveals at this years CES. One of the big ones is PlayStation Now, which seems really promising to everyone that has tested it. What do you think? Does it sound appealing to you? Let us know in the comments below.

Actually, the ban in China has not been lifted, per se. There are a bunch of “if”s that need to be taken care of (where the console is manufactured) before all consoles can fight for the number 1 spot.

Jesus 20+ mbps? I get like 1.5-4 on a bad/good day on my pc, and 5-6 on my cosole. Then Split my modem twice, so maybe that’s why. Modem – S – My Box – S – 1 to Consoles 1 to PC. XD

@eden – Ya I just looked up a more in depth article than all of the initial ones that were released when we recorded. The in China manufacturing requirement, and the Ministry of Culture having to review them.

@Clint: Manufactured at a SPECIFIC part of China (to make it even worse).

Should be interesting to see which ones get approved first. My guess is Nintendo and their franchises should not have a problem, but the PS and XBox range might run into a problem due to the nature of most of their releases.
