Has the Wolf met his match? Beaten and bloody, Bigby is confronted by the realization that a society built on secrets is ripe for exploitation. And that the disenfranchised of Fabletown may see his prey not as the cause of their problems, but as their solution. Constantly caught between ‘the rules’ and doing the right thing, Bigby must tread a path fraught with danger in this penultimate episode of The Wolf Among Us.
Read on for a spoiler-rific review!
The Crooked Man’s thugs managed to take Crane away, and Bigby was left in pretty bad shape since he was shot with silver bullets, the one thing that can do some heavy damage to a werewolf… or kill it. Luckily, Dr. Swineheart is able to help Bigby before things get even worse, ans after all the silver is removed, the sheriff’s supernatural healing starts to do its thing.
With Crane gone, Snow must now act as Deputy Mayor of Fabletown, and she’s set on making sure that all rules and regulations are applied in full, with no exception. This will definitely hurt Colin or Toad if you’re not careful, so be sure to make the right call during this episode.
After all the problems a small ray of hope shines through: Nerissa is waiting at Bigby’s office, and she might be able to share some information to help find the Crooked Man… if the right questions are asked in the right way. After making the most of the situation, Nerissa manages to let Bugby know he should go and talk to Beauty and Beast to learn more about what is going on.
What will Bigby learn from his visit with Beauty and Beast? Will they be able to find the Crooked Man? is there a way for them to stop him… no matter the cost?
Wolf Among Us: In Sheep’s Clothing is packed with nods to all previous episodes, and it allows us to visit three new locations that keep things fresh. You’ll meet new characters, learn more about the other fables in the city, and, as always, all the dialog and action sequences are great.
