Octodad: Dadliest Catch Out Today on Vita | PS3Blog.net
Indie studio Young Hourses has announced that Octodad: Dadliest Catch, a game we really liked, will be out today for Sony’s PlayStation Vita! That’s right, you’ll be able to take the insanity with you on Sony’s portable system. Want to learn more about this new version? Then come right in!
First up the best news ever: the game is cross-buy! That means that those of you who already own Octodad: Dadliest Catch on PS4 will be able to get the Vita version absolutely free. Now the bad news: there is no cross-save for the game. BUT, to make up for this, Octodad: Dadliest Catch on Vita includes a separate trophy list from the PS4 version, something that will definitely make trophy hunters very happy.
The port was made possible with the help of Sickhead Games, and it was thanks to this collaboration that a crazy new option was added to Octodad: Dadliest Catch… single system co-op! That’s right, on Vita two people will be able to control the action for what will surely be some fun results.
