[Review Revisited] Thomas Was Alone: Benjamin’s Flight | PS3Blog.net
After writing a review for the great Thomas Was Alone on PlayStation 3, I went ahead and did a review for its DLC pack. Thomas Was Alone: Benjamin’s Flight gives us a glimpse at a short side story that happens at the same time as the main story, with a new and interesting cast.
After having a great time playing Thomas Was Alone for my review, I was definitely ready for more content to play, so Benjamin’s Flight was exactly what I needed. I had a lot of fun with this DLC level pack that expanded on the Thomas Was Alone universe. It includes 20 new levels with new characters and a new storyline that is just as great as the main game.
Benjamin’s Flight puts you in the four sided frame of Benjamin, an optimistic and imaginative square out to find the Fountain of Wisdom. The story actually takes place before the events of Thomas Was Alone and acts as a nice companion piece to the main campaign. Benjamin is in the possession of a special jetpack that allows him to soar through the air while defying gravity, and this new ability brings a fresh take to the Thomas Was Alone gameplay.
