SteamWorld Collection Now Available At Retail On PS4

SteamWorld Collection

Rising Star Games got in touch with us to announce that they’ve released the SteamWorld Collection at retail for PlayStation 4. This two-in-one release brings to retail a physical disc with the critically acclaimed SteamWorld Dig and the just as critically acclaimed SteamWorld Dig.

SteamWorld Collection features 2013’s ground-breaking SteamWorld Dig, in which players drill down into a platform game mining adventure full of secrets, treasure, and terrors. Also featured is this year’s SteamWorld Heist, which delivers turn-based strategy with a twist: manually aim the guns of your robots, allowing for insane skill shots and bullet-bouncing action. Board, loot and shoot your way through enemy spaceships and upgrade your recruits with unique abilities, weapons and, of course, stylish hats!

As you’ve seen from our reviews, we certainly liked Image and Form’s first game as well as the studio’s sophomore effort. Even though I already own both games on PS4 and Vita (and 3DS and Wii U!) I’ll be grabbing a physical copy for my collection.

The SteamWorld Collection is now available in the US, Canada and South America for PlayStation 4, and is coming to Wii U on November 15. This retail release had also been released in Europe, Australia, New Zealand and the Middle East by Rising Star Games.

Developed by Image & Form and published by Rising Star Games, SteamWorld Collection is available now for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system in the USA, South America and Canada at participating retailers, and will be available on Wii U™ from November 15. In Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Middle East, Rising Star Games publishes SteamWorld Collection on PlayStation®4 system, which is also available now.
