Last night was a spur of the moment game night. Kane112 was the only one that showed up. He even meet me in the PS3Blog.net PlayStation Home Clubhouse. We decided to play Metal Gear Online. I created a Instructor game and taught him things I’ve learned about MGO over the years. Eventually he qualified to be promoted to an MGO Instructor himself. The ceremony is pretty funny.
This is probably the last Killzone 3 Open Beta game night for me. I tried for an hour to connect and never got in. So I don’t want to waste my time anymore. I played the private beta and had a blast and I’ll be picking the game up day 1.
Kane112 meet me in the PlayStation Home PS3Blog.net Clubhouse for a bit before we tried to get started. Photos of us in Home after the jump.

Be sure you guys have those cars ready for the race! I know some of you are anticipating getting the game this Saturday. For those who are waiting for Christmas to get the game, it will be a first come first serve to add me on PSN and to send me a PSN message asking for the car and I will “Gift” the one pictured above to you, as a little extra Christmas present :P. You must have just gotten the game, and signed up for the tournament, to be eligible, though.

[tab:General Information] We have a double header for you guys today. First, I’ll start off by announcing a Gran Turismo 5 photo contest. The contest will be divided up into 4 categories: Action, Multi-Car, Hangtime, Studio. More details for that …
So last night was our first-ever Race Night on PS3Blog.net. I must say, we had a blast. The folks who joined in with me were djlazyness, kennygk, and Kane112, who had some network issues throughout the night (as well as an appearance by mjm-can, who says he doesn’t have an ID on here).
For the most part, we just messed around. Started the night off with just driving around the track before we actually raced (at Trial Mountain). After that, we headed to the Suzuka East circuit and had a few laps on there before trying our hand at a drifting competition (so I had all of the assists and everything turned off). Kane112 performed the most controlled drifts, while Kenny and DJL came in too fast and wrecked into walls or one of us on the sidelines watching.
