Welcome back! It’s a short episode this week since there wasn’t much news to cover. I also haven’t finished the Dark Souls III DLC so I couldn’t spend any time discussing it. My time has been occupied with Civ VI and Battlefield 1, both of which are fantastic.
This week we’ll see the release of the PS4 Pro, which I’m hoping to pick up Friday. I’ll be able to try out a few of the games that offer extra 1080p detail and be able to discuss them on the next episode. I’m waiting for DICE to detail the PS4 Pro support for BF1 outside of just 4k. Though that game is pretty darn gorgeous already so I’m not sure what else they could do.
Are you picking up a Pro on Friday? Sound off in the comments below!
This is a great month for PS Plus fans with a strong lineup on all three PS systems, highlighted by an all time PlayStation classic and possibly one of the best games ever made. Come see what’s in store this month on PS Plus!
Anyways tune in to catch Isli, MissXya, and I discuss this week in gaming news. There wasn’t much in the way of new releases, except for Guacamelee, and I’m waiting patiently for Dead Island Riptide to be released. What games are you looking forward to? Let us know in the comments below!
One of the reasons that I really appreciate the company behind our beloved console is that Sony does a fantastic job supporting small, unproven game developers. Sony gave thatgamecompany a three-title contract that resulted in the fine trifecta flOw, Flower, and Journey. In 2008, Sony made a similar deal with Giant Sparrow, and their first title, The Unfinished Swan (released exclusively to PSN on Oct. 16, 2012) is a winner.
