Zipper Interactive is showing the Vita some Socom love with Unit 13, and it gives us a glimpse of what 3rd person shooters will be like on the handheld. Rather than having a deep story, Zipper has decided to give the player a set of 36 missions and 10 High-value targets, which can be done solo or online with a friend or random stranger. It is a great look at what “Could be” on the Vita. Sadly, it doesn’t deliver on what it set out to achieve.

Risen 2 was a pleasant surprise. Gone are the select a class aspects, such as Mage or warrior. You are, instead, given the opportunity to spend your hard earned exp on skills to shape your character leaving many doors of possibility open to shape your pirate how you see fit.
The game is gorgeous. Textures are spot on and the lush landscapes of the open world are breathtaking. So much so that my PC begged for an upgrade. The game’s main draw will be its combat. This isn’t your simple hack and slash. Human opponents will have you parrying and countering, so those who run in expecting to hack and slash will get owned very quickly. Some of the encounters can become drawn out, but as a fan of Demons Souls, I didn’t mind one bit. I can see the future battles becoming more and more satisfying with every win. Dragon’s Dogma Demo is a go! The fan’s requests have been heard and the Demo will arrive shortly. I’m extremely thrilled to get a hold of this one and try the crafting system. Here is the official announcement detailing what to expect.
This is awesome! EA is sending early copies of the upcoming Mass Effect 3 into space! The games are equipped with GPS and attached to weather balloons which can be tracked via EA’s website HERE. I have to admit this is slick. Official Announcement is as follows
The Starhawk Beta has finally opened to the public. To kick it off Harvard Bonin stopped by the Sony Blog to share some tips from the staff and top players.

This game is on my must have list and its looking better then ever. The trailer has 4 new playable characters to showcase as well as some of the colorfull envirorments.
Borderlands 2 will be released on September 18, 2012 in North America and September 21, 2012 internationally!
