Tearaway is one of the best games on the PlayStation Vita – there’s no doubt about it! This gem released relatively early in its life. It would later get a new chance to shine with a PS4 port. It’s actually a free PS+ game right now if you act fast before the lineup changes on Tuesday!
Time and Eternity is an RPG from NIS America which was released back in 2013. This game begins with the wedding of Zack and Toki (two of the main protagonists). The wedding is then ambushed, Zack gets killed, and Toki reveals her true nature as a Time Traveler with a twin soul (Towa). Time and Eternity doesn’t feature heavy Time Travel mechanics (as in, say, Chrono Trigger), but is overall a light-hearted RPG that I liked!

Bridge Constructor is a physics simulation puzzle game in which you must design bridges over gaps. Once you are done designing the bridge, you can test it under various circumstances, and it must be strong enough to withstand its own weight and cars weight without collapsing. I’m a fan of this type of games, as you can tell from myElefunk coverage. This package also includes a DLC called Slope Mania with extra levels, all in a single release. Interested so far? Ys: Memories of Celceta is a very good action RPG for the Vita. I loved this one when I got to play it a few years ago! If you’re craving for a good and entertaining game for the Vita, you have to check this one out!
EARTHLOCK: Festival of Magic is an indie turn-based RPG from Snowcastle Games and SOEDESCO that was crowdfunded through Kickstarter and managed to fund the required $150k. This game is the first of an announced trilogy, and the second game is already in development. Read our EARTHLOCK: Festival of Magic review to see what I thought of this release!
Fate/EXTELLA: The Umbral Star is a new “Musou” style game set in the universe of the Fate anime (which you can see over at Crunchyroll). It’s been developed by Marvelous and is published by XSEED Games. I didn’t know much about the Fate universe before playing this game and still enjoyed it, so watching the anime is a plus but certainly not a requirement to play this game.
