It’s post TGS and we go over the bit of news that came out from that show. We also take a deep dive into the issues we have with the end game of Destiny 2, though I do understand my problems are because of my MMO background.
We also have a long discussion about video game movies, due to the trailer for Tomb Raider dropping, and we talk about what we think might need to be done for one to be successful.
Well it’s basically the Destiny 2 episode this week, after we go over the bit of news there was. Of course the major thing is Bruce Straley leaving Naughty Dog. It’s sad to see him go, but I’m sure he’ll continue to do great things wherever he ends up.
It’s seems like everyone is playing Destiny 2 and the overall consensus is that it’s better than the first, which I agree. I have some issues with the first half of the game which I go over this episode, but since the recording I have grown to enjoy the game much more.
What about you? You playing Destiny 2 non-stop? Let us know in the comments below!
It’s all about three games this episode: Destiny 2, Battlefield 1, and Rainbow Six Siege. Isli goes over all of the improvements Destiny 2 makes over the first game, and I give my thoughts on the new maps for Battlefield 1.
We also go over South Park’s difficulty slider, and I give my impressions of an LG OLED TV.
September is here and Destiny 2 is launching this week. It’ll be a short lived break until the rest of the games start rolling out for Q4. We also got two bits of DLC for both Rainbow Six Siege and Battlefield 1 which released for their season pass/premium members.
The PSVR got a price drop on the core bundle, which now comes with the PS camera so that’s good news. I think I might have to pick one up at some point soon, though I’ll probably wait until after I get a 4K TV.
I’m sure I don’t have to ask if you’re picking up Destiny 2 this week, so why don’t you give us your impressions in the comments below!
It was a light Gamescom with not much coming out of it. We had a few game announcements, and Dontnod is partnering with Bandai Namco, but we didn’t get much else.
There was an interesting post from Marc Laidlaw regarding a ‘fanfic’ for Half-Life 2: Episode 3, but we all know it was more than a fanfic.
With The Lost Legacy and Hellblade under my belt, I have to say I really enjoyed playing both games back to back. Their tones were different, but they were just the right length that I was looking for and they also didn’t disappoint in the least.
What about you? Have you played either of them? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
It’s duos week as Isli is on vacation this episode. MissXya and I go over what little news there was as well as some speculation over what Sony might show at Paris Games Week in a few months.
Uncharted The Lost Legacy is out this week, the next set of Rainbow Six Siege operators are coming out next week, and then we’re going to hit September in full force with Destiny 2. The rush is starting and it’s going to be hard to keep up!
MissXya is back to join us this week as we go over new game announcements from Starbreeze, Dragon’s Dogma coming to PS4, Tales from the Borderlands sales figures, Horizon Zero Dawn’s DLC release date, and the impressive Rainbow Six Siege numbers.
With Horizon’s DLC falling into the first week of November it’s only added to the games that are starting to pile up. Q4 is going to give us plenty of options, and hopefully every game that is coming out with be of quality.
Let us know what you’re looking forward to the most in the comments below!
We’re back with another episode, but we’re down a host this week. We recorded this prior to the release of Hellblade so we won’t have any impressions of that yet. Though we do have quite a bit of news to go over and I get into some detail about big changes coming to Battlefield 1.
