Marston or Phelps? A Comparison of L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption
Posted by MAINEiac4434 in Boxart, Editorial, Game Impressions, L.A. Noire, Red Dead Redemption on May 22nd, 2011
Rockstar Games is hitting its stride now. Two straight games that are genre defining, and potentially revolutionary, they’ve released now, both of which to fan and critical acclaim. But which one is better? Team Bondi’s homage to film noire or Rockstar San Diego’s western classic?
I’ve already stated on this blog that Red Dead Redemption is among my favorite games of all time, and L.A. Noire was my most anticipated game of 2011. But, which game will I say is better?
I have to warn you, this post contains spoilers for both games. If you haven’t finished it, I suggest you wouldn’t read the “plot” section of this post.
Rumor: Modern Warfare 3 Boxart Exposed?!
Posted by Ace in Boxart, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, E3, E3 2011, PS3, PS3 software, Rumors on May 11th, 2011

Kotaku is claiming that they’ve gotten their hands on some leaked boxart for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Activision talked about the next entry in the Call of Duty series during their quarterly financial report on Monday. But aside from calling it “awesome,” company executives were drastically tightlipped about the next installment of the COD series. As of right now, we don’t even know who’s developing the game, let alone if it’ll be a new passage in the Modern Warfare series.
So what do you guys think? Is this just an awesome Photoshop job? A hoax? Or something else entirely? Feel free to beat up each other in the comments. ![]()
