Awesome Uncharted 3 Goodies!!

Naughty Dog has confirmed the existence of the Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception Collector’s Edition.
The Collector’s Edition for Drake’s third adventure will be available across North America when the game releases in November. It will include a functional Traveling Chest replica to store the other goodies included with the edition, such as the exclusive Steelbook case for the game, a full size replica of Drake’s belt buckle, a full size replica of Drake’s necklace which includes Sir Francis Drake’s ring, as well as an exclusive statue of Nathan Drake.
Naughty Dog also detailed the pre-order offers that will be available, with retailer exclusive bonuses granting early access to key multiplayer Weapon Mods, Boosters and Medal Kickbacks.
You’ll be able to get early access to the Creepy Crawler Kickback by pre-ordering at GameStop, which “allows you, when you’ve scored the requisite number of Medals, to turn into a swarm of deadly creatures to overwhelm your opponents as long as you’ve got time left on the Kickback countdown timer.”
Best Buy pre-orders will allow you to unlock the Regeneration Booster early, which “increases your healing rate in multiplayer, so that you can recover from your wounds and re-enter battle with full health sooner.”
Meanwhile Amazon.com pre-orders will give you three bonuses, one Kickback and two Weapon Mods. “The Carpet Bomb Kickback allows you to send out three grenades with a single throw to blanket your opponent – or take out a group of opponents – with multiple explosions. The Clip Size Mods for the Para- 9 and G-MAL increase the size of your bullet clip, allowing you to trade more shots with your opponent before you have to reload.”
Lastly Wal-Mart pre-orders will earn you the Callout Weapon Mode, which “allows you to equip your old friend, the AK-47, with a laser sight that enables your entire team to see the location of the opponent you are currently targeting.” Other retailers will also be offering voucher codes for exclusive PSN Avatars and PS3 XMB Themes.

Resistance 3 Pre-order Incentives Announced

Sony today released more information about pre-order incentives for the upcoming Insomniac produced game Resistance 3. The pre-order incentives vary from a wearable necklace, to the typical multiplayer perks. No word yet if these will be available outside the United States.

Killzone 3 Helghast Edition and Pre-Order Bonuses

The Super Voucher includes access to the in-game soundtrack, a dynamic theme, the Retro Map Pack (with 2 popular maps from Killzone 2), Double XP for the first 24 hours of multiplayer gameplay, and full access to all weapons and abilities in the same time span.

- Unlock all weapons and abilities for 24 hours, and get the Retro Map Pack for free
Fast Starter Pack (Best Buy)
- Double XP for the first 24 hours of multiplayer, and the Retro Map Pack
Unlock and Load Pack (Amazon)
- Get 3 Unlock Points to use on a weapon or ability, as well as the Retro Map Pack
All other participating retailers will simply get you the Retro Map Pack for free. No word on pre-order bonuses in other regions, though.
Dead Space Ignition Review

Since Dead Space 2 won’t be released until early in 2011 (January 25 to be precise) EA has decided they should get something out to us so we don’t forget about the franchise. Their choice was Dead Space Ignition which can be described as a motion comic with some quick mini-games sprinkled between all the dialogue.
Dragon Age 2 Freebies

As we mentioned on this site some months ago, Bioware was giving away codes for a free in-game item (Staff of Parthalan) for their upcoming title Dragon Age 2 when you sign up for their newsletter. The original cut-off date for signing up was back in July 2010, and the codes went out a few weeks ago, but Bioware recently announced that they are extending the program indefinitely. So if you missed out earlier, why not sign up for the newsletter now?
Also, if you pre-order the game from EA’s website before Jan. 11, 2011, you will automatically receive the “signature edition,” which includes a playable character, four weapons, and the downloadable soundtrack.
