Posted by Jay in 3D, 3D Gaming, Accessories, E3 2011, Hardware Bundles on June 7th, 2011
One relatively surprising announcement to come out the the conference yesterday was for this neat piece of hardware. Starting this Fall, retailers will be selling this new 24″ PlayStation-branded display for use with the PS3. It’s a 24″, 1080P 3D television that also showcases a feature Sakinah talked about in February, and that’s using the same display for two players, giving each player his or her own view on the display.

As far as hardware and accessories goes, one of last night’s announcements at Sony’s press conference was for the Doomsday Edition of Resistance 3. This will be a good way for players to pick up the title along with a Move, as it includes a PlayStation Eye camera, Move controller, the navigation controller, and, of course, the Sharpshooter Move attachment. You can expect the game, as well as the bundle (at $150), to hit stores on or around September 6th (the North American release date).
You can check the trailer after the jump.

SOCOM 4 Full Deployment Details, this you might wanna read!
Posted by Baba0Booey in Hardware Bundles, PlayStation Move, SOCOM 4 on February 27th, 2011

With the mighty tower that is the Call Of Duty series on the decline and burning out, the Medal of Honor game that didn’t do as well as was hoped, MAG (although a great game) has become somewhat…mundane (though the DLC did help some), that really doesn’t leave much aside from Killzone 3, which is pretty good as I find I get the “World Full” message a lot, meaning there are a lot of players online, which is good!.
But let’s get to the real reason why I’m writing this. I was making my usual rounds on the internet enjoying the sights, errrr sites (
), when I came across information on the SOCOM 4 “Collectors Edition”, or SOCOM 4: Full Deployment as they call it, and was I shocked! Here are the details:
The Full Deployment package contains the following:
- SOCOM 4 game, on blu-ray of course
- PlayStation Move motion controller
- PlayStation Move navigation controller
- PlayStation Eye camera
- PlayStation Move Sharpshooter
Black Friday Deals From GameStop Leaked
Posted by Ace in Hardware Bundles, Nintendo Wii, PS3, PS3 software, Xbox 360 on November 21st, 2010
Black Friday is fast approaching, so I bet you have some cash on your hands that you want well spent. Looking for a few cool deals? Leaked images show that GameStop might be a good place to go for the post-Thanksgiving splurgefest.
The supposedly leaked ad to the left indicates that you can get either Madden NFL 11 or Medal of Honor for free if you get yourself a 4GB Xbox 360. For the Wii, it’s even better: if you get a black or white Wii, you get the first Just Dance, Wii Sports Resort , and Wii Sports all for free. The PS3, on the other hand, goes God of War: buying a 160GB and you get God of War III andGod of War Collection for free.
Other attractive pickups include a limited Edition Orange or Green DSi w/ Mario Party DS for US$169.99, and a PSP pack with LBP PSP, a UMD of The Karate Kid movie, and a 2(?) GB memstick Pro Duo. You can also get older titles like UFC Undisputed 2010 and Final Fantasy XIII for just US$ 19.99.

Japan to Get a Titanium Blue PS3 Bundle for Gran Turismo 5
Posted by Ace in Gran Turismo 5, Hardware, Hardware Bundles, PS3 on August 18th, 2010

Japan is already enjoying the ceramic white variation of the slimmed-down PS3, and pretty soon, they’ll be getting a new color to choose from. As part of its hardware bundle, Gran Turismo 5 will be accompanied by a sleek titanium blue PS3.
The shiny blue PS3 will be packing a 160GB HDD, plus a matching controller. Another interesting bit is that the Gran Turismo 5 Racing Pack will also include a first-print copy of the game, which comes with an art book and downloadable “Stealth Models” of the Mercedes Benx SLS AMG, the McLaren F1, Honda NSX GT 500, Audi R10 TDI, and the Nissan GT-R GT500.
The bundle will cost ¥35,980 (US$ 420) and will be available in Japan on November 3rd. The first-print copies of the game will be sold at regular PS3 game price, but after stocks run out, regular versions will be sold at the same price, minus the extra stuff.
