PS3BlogCast Episode 158

Welcome back to another episode of the podcast, this week featuring a full crew. We missed last week due to some schedule conflicts, but there wasn’t too much news that we missed anyways.

Sony announced they won’t be at Gamescom this year and instead will be at the Paris event in October. I’m happy with this plan, since E3 and Gamescom are so close together as it is. That will give them some more time to build a better showing with perhaps some newer game announcements or even more footage of other games. We will just have to wait and see.

I’ve finished Bloodborne and man is that game fantastic. We talk about it briefly this episode but we will be doing a proper spoiler filled one on just Bloodborne at some point in the future.

What did you think of Bloodborne? Did it live up to the hype? Let us know in the comments below!

Disney Infinity 3.0 Edition Is Coming to PS3!

After several rumors, Disney has finally decided to officially announce Disney Infinity 3.0! This new edition focuses on Star Wars (which was to be expected after Disney Infinity 2.0 opened the doors for franchise-specific releases with its Avengers-heavy push).

Along with the Star Wars figurines, players will get a chance to collect new figurines for Mickey and Minnie, as well as for franchises such as Tron, Frozen and Inside Out (the latest movie from Pixar which will be out this June).

What do you think of this announcement? Let us know in the comments below!
