PS3BlogCast Episode 153

Welcome back to another episode of the podcast, where this week Isli paints while podcasting. It’s another light week of news with just expansions being released as well as Hotline Miami 2. I’ve already got a game backlog, but now I’m starting to get a DLC backlog as well!

Thankfully this week Dying Light got it’s hard mode patched in so I can finally return to that game. I’m also wondering what I’ll do at the end of this year since Uncharted 4 got delayed, but I’m sure there will be plenty.

What about you guys? Are you bummed as well about the delay? Or will MGS5 be enough to hold you over? Let us know in the comments below!

PS3BlogCast Episode 152

Welcome back to another episode of the podcast, where this week we discuss a lot of the news that came out of PAX. Metal Gear Solid 5 got a release date, which I’m super excited about. We also got some other release dates as well as the announcement of the Wolfenstein standalone DLC.

I’m a big fan of games that have standalone DLC. I enjoyed it a lot with games on the PS3 and it’s good to see developers do that on the current consoles. I hope more people adopt that method with future titles.

I know what I was most excited about from PAX, but what about you guys? What did you like the most? Let us know in the comments below!

PS3BlogCast Episode 151

Welcome back to a delayed episode of last weeks podcast. Unfortunately our hosting site was having some issues, so I was unable to upload the file for two days. Better late than never!

Tune in this episode as we go over a bunch of DLC announcements as well as listen to MissXya tell us all about the Gold Saucer in Final Fantasy 14.

I know it’s not on this episode but I saw that Valve announced Source 2 at GDC. Hopefully that means there will be a game announcement from them at E3 this year. Half-Life 3? One could only hope.

PS3BlogCast Episode 150

Welcome back to another episode of the podcast, this week featuring the entire crew. It’s been another slow week of news, but we still manage to have a good length episode for you.

The Order 1886 came out this week to mixed reviews leaning towards the lower end. I haven’t put too much time into it yet, just a about two hours so I don’t have a fully formed opinion on it yet. It is a gorgeous game and I’m interested in where the story goes.

The Order has brought on a lot of debate about the length of video games. I feel like it really depends on the genre myself, but what about you? Do you like shorter games or longer games? Let us know in the comments below!
