God of War: Ascension “From Ashes” Super Bowl 2013 Commercial

Here is the full-length version of “From Ashes,” the live action trailer for God of War: Ascension, featuring a special arrangement of Ellie Goulding’s “Hanging On.” A special one minute edition of this video will be played at some point during this weekends super bowl. (That’s a real life sports game involving a football, something that looks like Family Guy’s, Stewie’s head, that a lot of people watch.)
Anthony Caiazzo, the senior product marketing manager at SCEA said that, “This is just about the biggest production we’ve ever undertaken for a God of War commercial or trailer — or for any PS3 game for that matter. We are very proud of how it turned out, and we hope you enjoy watching it as much as we enjoyed making it.”
That red PS3 ultra slim looks pretty nice. I may have to find some funds for one. 
Kevin Butler Honoring PlayStation’s Greatest Gamers

If anyone has been following Kevin Butler’s twitter page, or even subscribed to his channel on YouTube, you would know about all the dedication videos he has been posting, honoring members of the PSN community, for the Hall of Play campaign. For your convenience, I have embedded a playlist for all of the videos.
So far, there are 12 13 in all. All of them a minute or more. And still hilarious. They’re each like a double shot of a Kevin Butler commercial (in fact, I think some of these show that good ol’ KB is still well in his prime, as some are better than the ads). Now here’s hoping he does one for one of us, eh?
The First Uncharted 3 TV Spot Airs Tonight

During tonight’s NFL Season kickoff, Sony has the first TV spot for the title planned to play during the Packers/Saints game. And yes, it is all in-game. You can watch it above!
Kevin Butler is Back!

It’s been a while since we’ve seen the man, but Kevin Butler is back (from an apparent failure as a flooring salesman) and he’s bringing his A game, or many AAA games, you decide.
What do you guys think of the new “Long Live Play” slogan? I have always been a fan of “It Only Does Everything”, but I could get used to it. Specially if it means more KB!
InFamous 2 Releases Today; Kevin Butler says it’s “EPIC”

Today, one of Sony’s most anticipated titles of the year releases. InFamous 2. I enjoyed the first title myself, and with the upgraded visuals and new features and powers available in this one, you can’t really go wrong with it. Anyone picking this one up? Given my current situation, my best bet for now would be renting it from GameFly, though.
Anyway, be sure to see what Kevin Butler, the VP of Heroic Actions, has to say about the game in the newly released InFamous 2 ad.
