Nothing much in the way of news on this episode, so after we go over the few things there are we get into the games we’re currently playing. I’ve since wrapped up The Talos Principle as of this post and I think I’m going to wait a bit before jumping into The Witness. My concern with that is having people discuss the puzzles on all of the podcasts I listen to. I’ll just have to make sure and jump past all of the spoiler talk so I don’t ruin the joy of discovery in that game.
What about you? You playing The Witness? How are you enjoying it? Let us know in the comments below!
id Software has let us know that Doom will be released on PlayStation 4 on May 13… and yes, that IS a Friday! This new release in the long-running series will be available in a regular version (just the game) and a Collector’s Edition that will include the game inside of a steelbox as well as a limited edition 12″ statue displayed over a LED-lit base with a turbine that will slowly turn, turn, turn.
Choice Provisions (the studio formerly known as Gaijin Games) has announced that Runner 2: Future Legend of Rhythm Alien, a game we very much like, will soon make its way to PlayStation 4. If you’ve bought the PS Vita version then you’re in luck, because you’ll get the PS4 version absolutely free once it is live on the PSN store on February 23. Yes, this does mean that if you own a PS3 copy of Runner 2, you won’t be getting the new PS4 version for free.
Saturday Morning RPG is an episodic, turn-based role-playing game that released a few years ago on mobile, and it has finally made the jump to consoles. In this game, you are following a hoverboard-wielding guy named Marty in his quest to rid the world of an evil society called the Hood while trying to get closer to the girl he loves.
