Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth1 is an enhanced remake of the Playstation 3 game Hyperdimension Neptunia that was released in 2011. The Hyperdimension Neptunia franchise takes place in the world of “Gamindustri” and the four main characters are personifications of the game console giants: Sony, Sega, Microsoft and Nintendo.
Sword Art Online (SAO) is a Japanese anime that aired in Japan between July and December 2012. The story follows Kirito, a gamer who gets stuck along with 10.000 players in a Virtual Reality Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game (VRMMORPG). If you are into Japanese anime and haven’t watched SAO yet, you’re really missing out! An English-language version aired on Toonami during last July, and that is a great option for anime fans.
EDIT 2014-04-25: This information has finally been officially confirmed!
Remember back at the beginning of January when I wrote about the Japanese only PS Vita game Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment ?
Well, apparently, after Tales of Hearts R announcement, Namco Bandai Games also revealed that this game would reach our North American Vitas (as a digital download)!
Over at the EU Playstation Blog, Alawar Entertainment has announced that a follow-up to Vita’s Free-to-Play Treasures of Montezuma Blitz will be coming soon to the PS Vita. This new game will be called Treasures of Montezuma: Arena.
Treasures of Montezuma: Arena will feature three games modes:
- Dynamic turn-based puzzle RPG Story
- Multiplayer Tournament
- Classic match-three Endless mode
As someone who played a lot of Treasures of Montezuma Blitz (my tips on how to get great scores can be found here!), I’m really interested in playing this new game, and I’m quite intrigued with the “dynamic turn-based puzzle RPG” mode!
Are any of you interested in this new game? What would you like to see in it?
We are pleased to let you know that Treasures of Montezuma: Arena, our latest and greatest Treasures of Montezuma game, is finally coming to PlayStation Vita as a downloadable free-to-play title, and we hope you have been anticipating it as much as we have!
Featuring three all-new game modes, including dynamic turn-based puzzle RPG Story, multiplayer Tournament, and classic match-three Endless mode, Treasures of Montezuma: Arena encompasses the best there is in the history of the game. Moreover, it goes beyond that by introducing more tactical options than ever, thus becoming the largest addition to the series both in terms of sheer size and impact.
The story of the game revolves around ancient Aztec emperor, Montezuma, who was forced by the Spanish conquistadors to flee to an otherworldly place ruled by monsters, and fight through enemy ranks to reclaim his freedom and gain power to return.
